Job Description
The postdoctoral position at the Southern Taiwan Biotechnology Center will involve researching the function of Root Growth Factor 1 (RGF1) peptide in the root meristem. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to participate in one or more of the following projects:
- Investigation of RGF1 peptide's regulation mechanism on reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the root meristem.
- Identification of proteins in the Arabidopsis root regulated by RGF1 receptor pathways via ROS.
Our research institute is located in Tainan, Southern Taiwan. The cost of living here is reasonable, and the climate is warm throughout the year with good public safety. Our institute's building, completed at the end of 2020, is conveniently located near the Tainan High-Speed Rail Station, offering a very accessible location. In addition to the brand-new building and excellent working environment, our research facilities are also at an advanced level.
Qualifications
Candidates for this position should have a background in transcriptomics, metabolomics, proteomics, or biochemistry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in spoken, written, and reading English, are essential.
Salary
Doctoral degree: Starting from NTD 62,776*;
*Adjusted according to seniority.
